ABOUT ME
I’m a presenter, keynote speaker, disability advocate, and proud mother, with a career built on championing representation and inclusion. As the BBC’s first visibly disabled weather presenter, I’ve helped challenge perceptions both on screen and beyond. Alongside weather presenting, I’ve contributed engaging segments for The One Show and Our Coast, and present corporate videos with clarity and warmth. As a DEI keynote speaker, I combine lived experience with professional insight to deliver impactful, relatable talks that compel organisations to think differently, act inclusively and celebrate diversity.
Disability Pride
Celebrate Disability Pride Month this July with a powerful speech hosted by Lucy Martin, the BBC’s first visibly disabled weather presenter. Drawing on her career and lived experience, Lucy delivers an engaging, authentic message about inclusion, representation, and pride.
This speech can stand alone as a headline event or blend seamlessly into existing Pride and diversity celebrations, adding thought-provoking and uplifting insight.
